In this video I demonstrate a side by side comparison of my 2 Cuisinart coffee grinders. The DBM-8 which has flat, ceramic style burrs, and the CBM-18 which has stainless steel conical shaped burrs. Both grinders do a nice, consistent job of grinding coffee. There are a few differences, ie: the DBM-8’s flat burrs tend to spin faster and create more heat while grinding which can affect the delicate flavor molecules.
