I used the Delonghi Eco Decalk mini descaling fluid, that contains lactic acid. Danger, read the instructions before using. The fluid can splash and cause serious eye damage and skin irritation. Which machine is better – the Delonghi Dinamica Plus, or the Magnifica Plus? This is a question I often get asked, and I made this video to show the differences. The machines have generally very similar drink recipes and output, but the Dinamica Plus is made in Italy, and has a few nicer features. In this video, I show you the easy way to descale the Delonghi Magnifica Evo. This also works the same way for the Magnifica Start. First, remove the milk container, and the water filter. Then, empty the water tank, drip tray and grounds catch bin. Next, put 100ml of Delonghi descaler in the tank, up to level A. Top that up with water until level B. The new Delonghi Magnifica PLUS is so far the best superautomatic espresso machine I have tried. This is a large improvement over the original Magnifica EVO, and even over the Dinamica Plus in my opinion. It regularly grinds up to 10 seconds for an espresso, or up to 12 seconds for a Doppio+, creating strong coffee pucks from 14.5 to 18 grams of coffee.
