They just keep popping up on our research. We closely monitored the battery meter during the brewing process. Anyway, We purchased both with our own money! This is NOT a sponsored video! Requirements:
1. The coffee maker must be able to give us a water temperature between 195 degrees to 205 degrees. *If you do not know about water temp and brewing coffee... google: "What is the proper temp for brewing coffee?"
2. The coffee maker must be able to run on 3000 watts inverter (pure sine) and a 140 amp hours battery bank!
We found that coffee maker just below 1400 watts would fit our requirements for our solar powered travel trailer rv camper.

This Bunn Velocity draws 53 amps (peaked at 70 amps) during heating up of the water.
The Bunn claims it heats up water between 195 degrees to 205 degrees. It takes 25 minutes to 1 hour to heat up the tank aka reservoir. After initial setup, brewing coffee only takes 4 minutes.
