🔹️It has a very strong motor with adjustable RPM. It had no issues grinding the lightest roasts at the lowest RPM. We can easily see this grinder being used in coffee shops.
🔹️The design, switch button, ground coffee knocker ring, and the magnetic catcher cup, all of these aspects make the grinder a pleasure to use 👌
🔹️It is well built and feels quite durable. Also, It is worth mentioning that it weights at around 8kg.
🔹️The grind adjustment ring is sufficient for most filter brewing methods. While some people might wish for a finer range for Aeropress, we felt that it would be enough for all coarse brewing methods (apart from fine Aeropress, espresso, and Turkish grind ranges).

🔹️The 78mm Shark Tooth flat burrs are an interesting choice. They are able to offer very good consistency across all types of roasting levels "Super light roasts and up to super dark roasts". That being said, we still feel that as this is an only filter focused grinder, there might be more potential to it with different burr sets.
🔹️Tastewise:
One of the biggest advantages of these burrs is that they are very forgiving and easy to dial in. By forgiving we mean that with many grind settings "1 and up to 7" you will be getting most out of your filter coffee 👌.
Most brews were sweet, juicy, with reasonable crispness and clarity. However, finding the sweet spot for perfect clarity might take some time.

🔸️The hopper looks beautiful and has an anti-popcorn piece with the ability to keep the lid halfway open. However, you will still get some occasional popcorning if you leave the lid halfway open or if you take it off.
🔸️The hopper can only fit 45g to 50g max. We prefer 50g to 60g capacity hoppers.

Overall, the Timemore Sculptor 078 is an extremely well built and designed grinder.
It can be easily recommended for coffee shops considering its powerful motor and durability.
However, we do wish for the option to change the burrs to fit different brewing preferences.
For instance, it would make an excellent espresso grinder with different burrs 💯
