I don't often make videos like this, but after my hands-on time with the Delonghi la Specialista, I was left feeling not only unimpressed, but somewhat deceived by the performance I experienced versus what is promised by the advertising and by the price point. As an experienced barista and espresso enthusiast, I immediately saw what was going on, but I worry that other buyers who are new to the hobby may to recognize the poor quality before it is too late. The Delonghi La Specialista is undoubtedly a machine to avoid for those looking to take their at home espresso setup seriously.
