Check out the best method to unpack your new BUNN Ultra 2 Slush Machine from the box and set it up. It comes in 2 boxes – smaller one being the bowls, augers, handles, seals, and lids
The larger box containing the base of the machine (weighing approx 50 kg)
We have modified the machine box to make it easier to unpack and reuse the box for another time.
UNBOXING
– Gently cut the tape (near bottom of the box) to dislodge the top of the box and slide up and off
– Remove paperwork and protective packaging
– Use 2 people to lift machine, while using correct lifting techniques
– Unpack all other components from the smaller box
SET UP
– Move power cable out of the way
– Remove Evap Support (by slightly raising support to remove from drainage hole and rotate)
**Caution: Do Not lift the silver drums too much as this adds stress to the rear of the machine.
– If applicable, Remove Paper from Evaporator (Silver Drum) and Caps from Light Cable Socket
– Wet Rear Tank Seal with water and place on machine (use bottom to top technique shown in video)
– Apply a generous amount of food-grade lube to auger seal then place on shaft (wipe away excess)
– Put Augers on so they sit flush against silver drum and sit comfortably on rectangle shaft tip
– Optional: If auger squeaks (plastic on plastic sound) you can apply a small amount of lube to the nose of the auger
– IMPORTANT: Slide nose bushing into position inside the front of the tank
– Wet inside rear of bowl to allow suction to occur with rear tank seal
– Push bowl in and down in one motion to ensure button clicks into place
**Double check that the rear tank seal is in position (and sealed) to avoid leaks
– Put Tap Handle on bowl, starting with 1 side over one knob, pull then place over 2nd knob
– Plug lid/lightbox into socket at back of machine (1 for each bowl) and place lid on bowl
– Slide Drip Tray into position, which is held on with a magnet, place grill on drip tray
– Plug into power point and machine is ready to go.
