This video is about a Illinois 1927 Bunn Special size 16 pocket watch .The Bunn Special pocket watch was named after John W. Bunn one of the founders of the Illinois Watch Company.This watch is probably one of the most well know names in pocket watchs.
In this video I show how to remove the front and back covers. How to set the time using the lever set mechanism.I go over the information that is engraved on the back of the watch movement.
I talk about the motor barrel and the mainspring and how they work .I go over what the jewels are and how they make the watch more accurate.
