Another from my old collection of 78’s. Teddy Bunn was (in my opinion) one of the best of the early blues/guitar performers and played with many of the top-line bands before and after WWII. This recording, made in the ‘Bluebird’ studios, New York, in 1938 has him playing and singing with the Mezzrow/Ladnier Quintet; which comprised:- Mezz Mezzrow; clt. Tommy Ladnier; tpt.
