In a world that is growing ever more absurd, the leaders of tomorrow must embrace the struggles in their lives. Moreover, it is important for them to assign the worth of their task on their terms. External motivation grows increasingly more treacherous a proposition thanks to our modern world. In order to lead lives of significance we must define for ourselves what is significant. Not only that, we must not be afraid of failure. As the Myth of Sisyphus tells us, the boulder will always roll back down the mountain but it will not stay there. Eventually Sisyphus always reaches the summit again. Senior at Christopher Newport University double majoring in philosophy and political science and double minoring in leadership and philosophy of law. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
