20:30 – Is the Behmor Connected for you?

The Behmor Connected is the follow up coffee maker to the wildly successful Brazen Plus. I’d even go as far as calling the Behmor Connected the Brazen 3.0, as it is very similar to the previous models, but it has a few new features.

Unlike its predecessors however, the Behmor Connected is controlled almost exclusively through a free app available on both Android and iOS devices.

While many would argue that this is a pointless feature, the benefits are largely won in the time-saving department.

For one, customizing your brew is quicker through the app than it is on the Brazen Plus’ 8-button control panel.

Secondly, the Behmor Connected app *will* allow you to save brew parameters to be quickly used in the future. This is especially handy if you brew different coffee from week-to-week or even, day-to-day.

Finally, the Behmor Connected has a “delay brew” feature that simply heats up your water without continuing the rest of the brew cycle until you command it to do so. This means you can start heating the water in your coffee maker right when you wake up in the morning, head to the kitchen to grind some beans, and continue the brew cycle when your ground coffee has been added and your water is hot.

This last feature will soon be integrated with a brew timer, which I think is a game changer for those who want fresh coffee when they wake up, without the hassle.
