🔹️Considering what it offers, it has a reasonably price tag at 100$.
🔹️It has a maximum weight limit of 3000g, which is desirable with some larger filter brewing recipes.
🔹️It has IPX5 water resistance from all angles. The USB Type-C charging port is also cover with silicone plug.
🔹️It measures at 12cm×11cm×1.9cm , which is basically a perfect size for multiple purpose use (Espresso and Filter).
🔹️It comes with Tavel case and 100g calibration metal piece.
🔹️It offers few customizations in the program like three levels of beeping sounds in addition to mute. Auto-tare/start time features.

🔸️It does not have a Bluetooth connectivity option. Some people would love to be able to use it with smart espresso machines like the Decent espresso machine. It will be wise to consider offering this feature as an option even for a higher price tag. Additionally, you are not able to update the firmware of the scale without a Bluetooth connection.
🔸️While it has a fast reading speed with minimum lag and latency, it is still not as fast nor accurate as the Felicita Arc or the Acaia Lunar. However, the Felicita Arc is more expensive and the Acaia Lunar is more than double the price in the USA, and triple the price in Europe!
🔸️The time rest setting requires your to keep touching for two seconds, which is slightly annoying. However, this can be easily fixed with future production units.

Overall, the Varia AKU is a wonderful scale. It is definetly the best available option at its price tag, and for people who are willing to invest in a vesitile coffee scale.
