Normcore ultra-thin scale #unboxing ☕📸
.
.
It is a very interesting and well designed scale.
.
.
It has 0.1g accuracy, and similar to the Timemore black mirror, it starts showing the weight once it reaches 1.0g of weight as you can see in the video.
.
.
It is easy to fit on the drip tray due to its thin body, and the round edges (triangular shape) 🖤👏
.
.
.
It seems that there is a very similar scale with cheaper price tag. However, Normcore made their scale with much simpler screen informations and measuring modes (We read about many latency and lag issues with all the different measuring modes of the cheaper scale).
.
In addition, they added more accessories along with their customer service, which will help incase of any problems with the scale.
.
.
We have both the Timemore Black Mirror, and The Normcore Ultra-thin scale. Both are great and each one has its own specail character.
However, the Normcore is more practical to use for espresso in a tight drip tray
.
.
Unfortunately, there is no sound feedback on each touch. It would have been nice addition to get the feedback after each touch.
.
.
You need to keep pushing the timing touch area for around 2.5 to 3 seconds in order to turn it off. Probably 1.5 seconds or double touch would have been the more enjoyable option 💯👏
.
.
Thanks to the @normcorewares team for giving us the chance to test and share our honest opinion regarding this scale. We will keep testing it around and share our opinion in future posts 💯

🟡🟡November Update🟡🟡 :
Normcore did inform us that they are planing to add a beeping sound in their newer version + improving the speed of turning off, and turning on. ☕👌

Cheers! ☕🤍
