Quite honestly, I’m tired of seeing photos of coconut oil stirred into generic low-quality coffee on Instagram under the hashtag #bulletproofcoffee. A for effort, sure, but that is NOT going to give you kick ass fat burning benefits! Here’s how to make REAL Bulletproof Coffee! 👉Grassfed Butter can be found in post grocery stores! Sprouts, Smart & Final, Whole Foods, etc. “Kerrygold” “Vital Farms” “Anchor” are the most popular brands!

Ingredients:
– Upgraded Coffee Beans
– Brain Octane Oil or XCT Oil (Brain Octane is more concentrated and has more of an effect. XCT oil is a bit cheaper, though, and is definitely the highest quality MCT oil on the market)
– Unsalted Grassfed Butter or Ghee
– Grassfed Collagen Protein (Optional)
– Blender

-Brew 1 cup (8-12 ounces) of coffee using filtered water with 2 ½ heaping tablespoons of freshly ground Bulletproof Coffee Beans (I use a French Press for ease of use and to preserve beneficial coffee oils that paper filters keep out)

-Add 1 teaspoon to 2 tablespoons of Brain Octane Oil. Keep in mind that this stuff is powerful. Start with 1 teaspoon per cup and work your way up to 1-2 tablespoons over several days.

-Add 1-2 tablespoons of grass-fed, unsalted butter or grass-fed ghee. Make sure your butter is unsalted! Salty coffee is gross.

-Mix it all in a blender for 20-30 seconds until it looks like a foamy latte.

-For added benefits and protein, add some grass-fed Collagen protein for an upgraded morning (make sure to GENTLY pulse it after your coffee has been blended! You don’t want to damage the protein)
