I hope you guys didn’t pay the USD$199 recommended retail price; it has
been sold at AUD$79.00 here in Australia for close to two years and heaps
of users have benefitted from it being available through Aldi (a German
discount supermarket). On the plus side, you could try hunting for the 13
flavours available here in Australia – 11 coffee, 1 chocolate, 1 chai latte.
I did pay $199…I know I’m stupid! Also they aren’t releasing new pods
anymore. Nothing new has been released since November! I don’t think the
Verismo is selling all that well but I hope it doesn’t die a painful death.
I wish Aldi sold the Aussie version here. It’s the same darn machine!
Anyway maybe we could trade pods? I’ll send you some Verismo pods and you
can send me some Aldi pods!
