Keurig is the supercuts of (bad) coffee and i don’t believe nespresso
aspires to become a commodity like them. They’ve been very successful with
their business strategy of creating a niche espresso/latte market pretty
much all over europe. I recently stayed at a 4 star hotel in zurich and
paris and they prided themselves in having a nespresso machine in every
room. They are a very recent entrant in the american market and are doing
fairly well.
Good video, the U makes great coffee; in the UK the Nespresso Club runs a
recycling service for the used capsules (aluminium).

Great video. Not a fan of the product though. If this company was ever
serious about cracking the keurig niche….they woulda created a machine
capable of brewing more than just espresso. This line of machines will not
survive absent extreme evolution of design and capabilities. No room in my
kitchen for a dedicated espresso maker. Good luck hot lady with an accent
on twelve commercials a day…

I love my nespresso machine! No more starbucks,Now I have the best at home.
Lots of useful info. Thanks! I have one question: If I put the capsule in
the machine and close the slider before machine is heated up, what would
happen? 1. the machine starts brewing once it’s heated up 2. the machine
starts brewing right after slider is closed even when it’s not heated up 3.
doesn’t work. need to open and close the slider again after the machine is
