Tired of paying Starbucks prices for a latte? DeLonghi has a terrific in-home coffee machine, the Nescafé Dulce Gusto, and for about $1 you can have cappucci…
My one has a lever on top to adjust how much you put in. I think it’s the
newer version.
blue cold water
Thanks for the video, maybe next time can you use a clear glass so we can
see what it looks like?
Thank you for the video
What was the voltage for your unit? Is it 110V only or universal? Thanks.
The blue one is cold water
Nb: the capsules are designed for single use only. If you run it again like
you did in this clip you risk flow back of water into your machine which
will screw it up.
If you want it to fill for longer, set your fill level at the front before
you press the red button to start the flow of water :)
Thank you for sharing this video. Very helpful. Took me a while to find the
right coffee machine since my b/f wanted one for our household & I am a
latte drinker. I wanted a machine with variety. Not only did I understand
what this machine was capable of doing but it was step by step on how to
use it. Thank you for your help :)
Not recyclable??? Not buying.
Hi Dave, great little demo… helped pursued me to go get one.
Just for you own interest, a Macchiato, is an Italian Expresso with just a
dash of milk. Macchiato, pronounced ‘Makk ee arto’, means ‘stained’ or
‘marked’ in Italian, so it is a coffee with just a small dash of milk, as
opposed to a latte, which is Italian for ‘Milk’ so a ‘Cafe Latte’ is a
‘milk coffee’. Lait(e) is also French for Milk.
Always make sure you order a ‘Cafe Latte’ when in Italy or France, because
if you just order a Latte, you’ll just get a glass of milk!
Hope that is some useful info for you Dave
Cheers
My latest video is a product view of a very slick at-home coffee machine
from *DeLonghi*. It also shows my continued improvements in video editing
and post-production. Comments / feedback most welcome!
Thinking of buying a single cup coffee machine as a holiday present? Check

Amazing. I posted the below video review less than a year ago and it’s
already had 31,975 views. For a coffee machine. Who says video isn’t
compelling? :-)
I got the same machine but it’s made by krups. I live in italy. Mine
doesn’t have the green lights, it’s the simplest one. I bought a lot of
coffee on amazon to save money. Anyway it’s pronounced makkiato :)
You can buy reusable cups and foils online and buy your beans at the store
and use the store grinder to grind it to espresso grind. A lot cheaper than
the pods if you just want regular coffee.

can I actually use beans??
No this machine only takes pods
Someones obviously not italian.
Yes I have one and its for cold water, so basically it’s no heat
how big of a cup can you fit in the machine ?
Is that sarcasm because if everyone recycled it would help a lot more.
so it uses powder to turn the water into milk?
thanks, got one for xmas and the manual isn’t very helpful.
When I take off the bottom ‘shelf’ then I measure the opening space to be
just a bit under 8-inches. Hope that’s helpful!
So big question here is taste?!? Is it better tasting then Starbucks or
Dunkin’ Doughnuts?
What coffee “cups” or pods do you use for this maker? I am trying to order
some online and the packages are a little pricey. (then again I’m cheap.)
Hi Dave, thanks for your video – very helpful. I bought one of these & just
wondering if yours is loud when making the coffee? Thanks 🙂
can the EDG200T make a latte as well?
Exactly. There are “cups” with (presumably) dehydrated milk (and probably
some sweetener) that add a kinda frothy milk to the coffee, depending on
what pack you buy.
Oh gosh, maybe 90 seconds. It’s pretty fast once everything’s ready to go.
not recycling, thanks wahs playing to buy one not sure now
how long does it take overall to make one cup?
Yes, as far as I can tell, Leoncio91, the “milk” cups have dehydrated milk.
It’s kinda sweet when it comes out though, so it’s not just regular milk
that’s been dried…
Not particularly…
I LOVE LOVE LOVE MINE!!!
My sister’s got one of these.
I bought one for my mother for the mother’s day. But when I went home she
said she like using the beans one more
