sorry mitsport. approval emails started getting directed to the spam folder
for some reason. I’m glad that this video was able to help you.

Ryan96se says:

Hello Jeff. The warmer switch is held in place by support tabs located to
the left and right side of the switch. These need to be depressed by prying
gently on the left and right sides of the switch until it pops out. Be
careful not to damage the stainless metal front. The switch can be tested
with a volt meter once it is disconnected and removed from the machine. If
you are getting 120v to the switch and the switch tests good on the ohm
test (passing current through) then your warmer plate is m

Thanks for the fuse part numbers…..Great Find! Do you know if it matters
which way the fuses are joined together? I have since thrown mine away and
I can remember how they were configured. I know they were soldered to each
other power going in one end and out through the second to the circuits.

Very useful. Fixed my coffee maker perfectly, thank you very much.

MY DAUGHTER HAS THIS PROBLEM AND HER BUNN WAS REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE EVEN
THOUGH SHE HAD THE THING FOR LIKE FIVE YEARS. I GUESS SHE GOT LUCKY WITH
THE REPRESENTATIVE SHE SPOKE WITH.

Mouser.com has the fuses, 526-NTE8139 @ $1.43 ea. You will need two of them!

Thanks for the video! Mine started leaking about a year ago; I just went
out and got another one, but I kept the old one in case I felt like digging
into it someday to see if I could fix it. Which I think I’ll do now that
I’ve seen this video.

How big are the O rings that you used?

mitsport says:

Thanks, my grx has been leaking badly for awhile. I used a rubber hose seal
coated with vasoline and it worked great. Bunn should address this easy fix
major problem with a simple furnished gasket. When you pay this much for a
coffee maker you expect quality.

Ryan96se says:

looks like someone at quality control are finally doing their job…lol

Ryan96se says:

most likely bad. If the switch is not passing current through you can try
to clean the contacts inside. The red rocker front is held into place by
two plastice tabs. Gently pry downward at the top or bottom to pop the red
rocker front lose. Then remove the rocker front. Inside will be 2 contacts.
Clean with light grit sand paper. Snap the red rocker cover back into the
switch housing being careful not to damage the little plastic retaining
tabs. The switch can be ordered through Bunn.

Ryan96se says:

To be honest with you I’m not sure of the number sizes. I used two o’rings
though. One around the center plastic tube and another on the top of the
white silicone base to the lid. I ended up taking the tube and the lid to
the hardware store to size mine up. If anyone has the number sizes I will
definitely post them. Any size that will add additional seal between the
lid and the white silicon top will work fine though.

mitsport says:

Thanks so much, I did not have an o ring so I used so I cut a seal from a
piece of automotive gasket seal and it worked great. Mine has been leaking
for 6 months. It is behond me why Bunn has not addressed this problem and
furnished a simple little seal for a fix. I will never buy another Bunn
product.

mitsport says:

Just to let anyone interested. I went to install a gasket in my friends
grx-b before it started leaking. I bought mine in late 2007, she bought
her’s in 2008. When I opened it up low and behold there was a white rubber
factory installed gasket there so I conclud from this that Bunn did know
there was a problem. Sure wish they had taken the time to let the “leakers”
know.
