Automatic Coffee Maker

Cuisinart is one of the worlds leading kitchen appliance companys and have been in existence for over 40 years. They were started by the husband and wife team of Carl and Shirley Sontheimer after a demonstration of a food preparation appliance in France. Carl, a MIT trained physicist was convinced he could adapt the technology for the home market in the USA. Carl succeeded and the company flourished for many years before falling on hard times. Cuisinart were eventually bought out by the Conair Corporation following the company’s bankruptcy in 1989 and have remained under the control of them ever since. Today we are reviewing one of their coffee makers – the DCC-1400 Brew Central 10-Cup Thermal Coffee Maker.
