What kind of burner is that?
Darn – so you have to make 8 cups worth of coffee at a time. That would be
fine for large parties, but seems such a waste for general use.

I too don’t need that much coffee but I honestly believe if you make 8
cups, cover it, and microwave the coffee later you will notice very little
difference in the taste.
In my experience for the plastic filter that comes with the pot you need to
have pretty coarse grind otherwise the coffee will have hard time getting
down and it will be difficult to get it apart.
