Bodum makes the best french press products…love their classic design.
thank you based god
I thought it was 1 scoop per 6oz of water.
Are you asking about Residue in the bottom of the cup? You will always will
have a little Residue with French Press. But if you have good coffee
grinder it will be much less :). Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com.
Informative vid guys, but you should really cut down on the time.
Bonsoir, très belle vidéo !!
I have a dilemma: You mentioned that you made a big mistake stirring the
mixture with a metal spoon( stainless in this case) yet you said that the
no 2 (professionally speaking) french press is the glass one, the stainless
steel one being the no 1. Would not the stainless steel present in the no 1
interfere with the taste( or other reasons you would not use a metal spoon
for stirring)? Thank you.
I just bought my bodum chamboard at starbucks, and also bought a bag of
grind cofee, french press style, but…. do you reccomend to buy it already
grinded or get my a grinder and buy whole grains? does the taste really
change that much?
Thank you for your reply. So, according to your explanation, actually you
did not make a mistake by stirring with a stainless steel spoon, tastewise
speaking. Now I am confused. In that case where is the mistake? Would it be
the turbulence created? Why do you recommend wood for stirring? Thank you.
Thank you. Will do :). Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com
Love the super secret extra scoop! LOL. How many grams did you put in, do
you know?
Great. Make sure it’s Burr Grinder thought :). Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com
Stainless steel will not effect the taste. We are actually almost always
recommend wood :). But again stainless steel is just fine with stainless
steel French Press. Hope I did answered your question. Enjoy your cup,

Wood is neutral and will not scratch your glass. I think main point here
don’t use stainless steel with glass. It’s not about flavor. Enjoy your

Hi! I’ve got a question. I bought a package off coffee FOR french press.
But I got alot off… What did you call it. Coffee grit? Will that
disappear if i get a grinder? (sorry if I did’nt do myself understood)
It’s 7g coffee scoop. Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com
Thanks guys, I’m ging tonight to buy my grinder
Yes it does :). And I’m asking you to try it so you’ll see the difference.
It’s always better grind right before you brew. If you grind in the store
simply don’t buy a lot or coffee. Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com.
That’s the BASIC method but you failed to mention a couple of important
steps that will make the press pot product even better. .1 WEIGH your
coffee, never use a scoop. 2. MEASURE your water volume, don’t just eyeball
the amount. 3. GET A THERMOMETER, water temp is critical, 194-205 degrees.
You don’t just guess that range by waiting a little bit. Seeesh. Come on
guys.
My coffee tastes like it was strained through a sweaty sock.. I’m guessing
fresh coffee is key. Mine is a couple months old from being ground. I want
to get the most out of it so time to stop being cheap.
