A few years ago I purchased a WiFi coffee maker from a company called Behmor, which had a very good reputation at the time. I loved that coffee maker so much because it was very good at controlling the temperature of the coffee for a perfect brew. I could also program it to start either by using an app on my phone, or I could pick a time for the coffee to brew so that it would be ready when I got out of bed in the morning. Unfortunately, the machine died several months ago, and the company seems to have gone out of business. So I have been looking for a comparable machine ever since. This new Cafe Specialty Drip Coffee Maker is very similar to the Behmor in functionality, but this machine is much more attractive. It also has more controls on the coffee maker. With Behmor, I had to use the app if I wanted to customize any of the settings. I am very happy with this machine after using it for a few days. Every pot I have brewed so far has come out perfect. I also like the fact that I have more control over the strength of the coffee than I did with the Behmor. My favorite feature is the same on both machines, which is the ability to set a schedule so that my coffee will be ready and waiting for me when I get up in the morning. Of course, I realize that the best-tasting coffee will be when you brew a pot from freshly ground beans. By setting everything up the night before and letting the ground coffee sit in the filter basket for several hours, I am losing some of that freshness. But the results are still quite good, and it saves me a lot of time in the morning when I'm usually quite busy. I have not tried the Alexa integration yet since I prefer to use the app to schedule the time that the coffee will brew. Even if you don't care about the WiFi features, this is a very good coffee machine because of the perfect temperature control, which is why it is SCA certified. I highly recommend this model if you can afford it.
