which machine has a better track record the ‘touch ‘ or the ‘ring plus’ ?

bjohnsto1 says:

Thanks for posting this. It makes me want to upgrade my six year old Saeco
for this one!

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

It’s a great choice! 🙂 – Kat

I just went to a friend’s house who had this machine, and still had the
milk island in the original plastic bag. She never knew how to connect it.
So I connected it, and used it for the first time. I was pretty surprised
with the milk quality of the milk island, but geez the amount of bits you
have to clean afterwards makes it not really worth it even for a large
amount of frothed milk. I also found putting attachment on the machine made
the machine leak water (even with water reservoir out)

Jameson Smith says:

why did you stop selling gaggia?

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

They’re prettty similar; but the Ring has been discontinued in the US. – Kat

TinnInches says:

Thanks for giving me ideas for when I’m ready to upgrade.

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

six years is a good run! 🙂 🙂 – Kat

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

They have a life of about 5 or so years until you need to start doing big
part replacement, etc. – Kat

I am stuck on choosing the talea ring plus or the jura f50. I currently own
a Saeco but for some reason the Jura looks like a better built machine. Is
it true the Jura machines your not able to clean the inside brewing unit,
is that a good or bad thing?

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

🙂

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

@getuliojr They were identical, functionally, when we stopped selling
Gaggia almost a year ago. Not sure if they have made any changes since last
spring, but at the time the only difference was case design. – Kat

Getulio Romão Campos Junior says:

Which one is better this one or a Platinum Vogue ? Or what stands in each
one ?

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

I am so not a fan of those milk islands … probably because they have an
average life span of about six months 😉 – Kat

it’s nice… i very like this one…

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

@TinnInches You’re welcome! Let us know if you have any questions as you’re
researching – Kat

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

Yup – they’re the importer and seemingly only sell to their subsidiaries 😉
– Kat

panhead88 says:

wow, imagine a 57.5 liters for a reservoir, that would be nice.

cristian oprea says:

ok. 10x

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

You will be prompted to clean the brew group on the Juras and their
automatic cleaning procedure is really effective. In the US the Ring has
been discontinued, so if you’re here then that will make your decision for
you…unless you find one used, etc. – Kat

Jameson Smith says:

I had to buy my gaggia through whole latte love. Wasn’t happy about it I
love you guys! Lol

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

We had issues with the US importer a few years ago due to poor service,
etc., and we had to discontinue the relationship unfortunately. – Kat

cristian oprea says:

Hi. Thanks for the video. I have found a pre-used Talea Touch for about 350
us with around 2300 cups on the counter. How much should I expect to be
able to use it without breaking down ? Thank you.

RovereTano says:

Awesome !!! Saeco sei la migliore !!!
Miss Ok, ok, ok, ok, ok … hahahaha
