maybe you should invest in a non pressurized portafilter , a good tamper
and a better grinder…
i can get brilliant shots out of this machine…

Mario Michel says:

Good luck with that. When I was starting out, I thought i knew everything
too. Thanks for sharing.

Mario Michel says:

Patience + learning curve+ proper equipment = great espresso. You have a
good machine. Just learn the craft.

Steve Cirelli says:

Yea it’s a super complicated process.

Steve Cirelli says:

Ahh nope to both of you. I took a month and learned. It did no pull a
consistent shot. Rarely did i get a decent shop. You know it is possible
the machine was defective. It arrived in a crushed box, the machine had
broken through the Styrofoam casing it was dropped (or w.e happened to it.)
so hard.

Steve Cirelli says:

Better grinder? What’s better than the kitchen aid one? And they said not
to tamp the grinds for this machine. And when i did tamp the machine could
not build up enough pressure to push the water through the grinds.
