I always use Cleancaf for descaling my Rancilio Silvia machine and it was
recommended to me by the roasting company that sold me the machine here in
Iceland. I think it’s more than enough for the very soft Icelandic water.
Here you need to descale maybe 1-2 times a years. I though do backflush the
machine regularly.
