… sorry :/ – Kat

Felipe Tun says:

Hello there, I’m a real hard espresso coffee drinker, and I’d like to have
one of these machines but I’d like to know about performance, because I
know coffee beans could make a huge difference between each other, which
one has a better result in the cup Jura Impressa C5 or Krups espresseria,
I’m not looking for something fancy, I already have 2 espresso coffee
makers, Breville Barista Express and another Krups manual espresso coffee
maker. I’m more into something practical for mornings.Thanks.

theoharis2000 says:

Well, this panarello is really great vs the panarello on my Krups. This is
the second version of their panarello, not the traditional

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

@etherealrhythm Hahahaha – IMHO, it is the best thing about this machine –
Kat

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

I’d probably give it a solid 3 🙂 – Kat

BOHEMIANMEX says:

Hello Gail and Kat, Always is a pleasure watch your videos, question for
you, from 1 to 5 which could be the score for this Krups model? Regards
from Mexico

bazyliana says:

what model is that?

Warrenff5 says:

I see Krups at Wal-Mart and Target, and, to say the least, I’m never
impressed. Are their superautomatics any better than the cheap-quality
coffee makers/espresso machines I see at retail stores? I have seen one of
their superautos at Bed Bath & Beyond, and it didn’t look like anything to
write home about…

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

Thank you — we changed the page’s design up a bit 🙂 I did see your
comment … I didn’t realize they’d changed out the panarello – Kat

Ian Jones says:

Hi all, I am loving your reviews off the different machines. Have you
tested the Krups ea8080 before please?

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

Not really; have you messed around with the dosing? It was fairly standard
espresso for a superautomatic. – Kat

djbhabeatz says:

It took me a while, but I found out how to make really satisfyingly strong
espresso with this Krups model. Buy roast-to-order medium beans (like
metropolis out of chicago). Grinder on fine. Use filter. Turn the heat
setting to level 3. Click OK twice in quick succession to trigger a double
shot cycle. Dial it down to two, 0.7 oz shots. It will taste a solid 30%
better than starbucks, and about 20% weaker than an avg barista using primo
equipment. Cost = $0.81 (including pro-rated filter use)

shane agnew says:

did you find this machine makes weak coffee cause mine does

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

@beesoffury We are in the processing of possibly becoming a warranty center
so, on that side of things, hopefully we’ll be able to provide better
support than you experienced in the future. Thanks for sharing your
feedback on it — definitely helpful to folks researching gear! – Kat

papadouris says:

i would like to buy an espresso machine but i can’t deside between this
krups and the philips syntia cappuccino, that you have already reviewed.
What would you suggest? I think that philips is more automated but i’ve
read that does not make good milk froth.

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

It’s a great one – Kat

breakdancer011 says:

really good espresso machine

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

This is referential to other superautos on the market *at the time of this
filming* which was nearly two years ago. – Kat

MrAlligam says:

I’ll admit that I am surprised to see Krups playing in this space. Looks
like a nice first step.

joemcguire5 says:

Hey guys! Have you seen the Krups EA900? Its a the fancier superauto from
them. Any experience? Can you do a review vid? Thanks!

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

It’s the Krups Espresseria … – Kat

pecany08 says:

I am concerned about hearing this called a low end machine. It’s not cheap
by any means and I personally don’t know anyone who would spend more than
1,500 or so for a coffee machine for home use. I am trying to decide
between this machine and the Jura Ena Micro 1, which is only $100 more
expensive at $899. The machine is obviously important but isn’t the most
important component they quality of beans? Would you recommend Saeco over
Krups? Thanks.

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

@zepoe Hahahah – there is no perfect machine! It’s definitely a value
purchase 😉 – Kat

Seattle Coffee Gear says:

When …? – Kat
