Freddy Happenstance says:

It took me a little bit of trial-and-error, but I would say my French press
makes the best coffee I’ve ever drank. I’d like to try one of those
pour-over pots as well, but I never have. For whatever method, my tip for
getting the ratio down right: it’s best to brew stronger coffee than weaker
coffee, because you can always make good coffee by diluting the strong
whereas the weak coffee is trash.

Tony Trent says:

@Rob P: Not much luck? It’s so easy to do… Just watch the 9,829,237,974
videos on youtube. The fact that you haven’t been able to successfully use
a French press with all the 9,829,237,974 videos says a lot about you as a
person.

Rob P. says:

I have not had much luck with a French Press.

That’s okay, I’ll name names for you… Mr. Coffee, Krups, Braun, Black And
Decker and at least a few others; I’ve owned them all and you’re so right,
they all suck! French Press or pour-over’s where it’s all at in my book.

Robert Barnett says:

This isn’t most countries you twat. This was filmed in N.Y.C. in the U.S.A.
If you want Celsius view a video from another country lol

slammah2012 says:

If you want a coffee with low acidity, you use lower temperature
water….176 degrees… the most amazing coffee is the water with the least
amount of contact time with the dry coffee…. an Aerobie press is my
reccomendation…. like a french press, but the emersion is quicker and the
lower temperature water is a must… beautifull coffee in under a minute

It’s 196 Fahrenheit you twat.

Johnnyboy792 says:

The French Press is a great product, but to get all the facts in, it
doesn’t remove a product known as Cafestol away from the beans. If you have
a problem with cholesterol, you might want to avoid it.

mongomondomongo says:

Almost everything at Starbucks are automated now. You can get decent coffee
but I wouldn’t expect anything amazing there.

Mike Jones is good. He can talk well and Howcast is well made. The style
they presented is professional level. My opinion only.

Moody Mongul says:

196 degrees? (100 degrees being the boiling point of water) anything under
that will make coffee bitter? You sir are an idiot and promoting the idea
that all americans are moronic. I have therefore sent a formal complaint to
the ‘coffee shop’ you work at and am expecting your immediate dismissal 😉
*also, why are coffee shops so scared to mentioning the pure awesomeness of
the AeroPress when it comes to making great coffee easily*

Chemical Craig says:

Chemex FTW.

Chris says:

Chemex, indeed!

Moody Mongul says:

He never states that doucheous bagus! Thats my point and sarcasm isn’t your
strength. Most countries use the Celsius scale if you didn’t know. oh wait
..you didn’t
