Hi Guys, today I’m reviewing the Keurig K15 Single Serve Compact K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker. LINK to Keurig K15: http://amzn.to/2hBMzZc The Keurig K15 measure 11 inches tall, 8 inches wide and 10 inches deep. The cord is 35 inches long and you can push it back into the back slot for storage. It’s the smallest and least expensive Keurig you can buy. You can make a 6, 8 or 10 ounce cup. If you want an 8 ounce cup, pour in 8 ounces of cold water in the reservoir and the unit will use up all 8 ounces. The water level is not on the side like most brewers. There’s a 6, 8 and 10 ounce circle and you’ll fill water up to the rim. With some other models, you can store a large quantity of water in the reservoir and set the unit to brew let’s say an 8 ounce cup. The 8 ounces will be pulled from the reservoir and the rest of the water will stay in the unit so you can use it next time. With this model, you pour water into the reservoir each time you want to brew a cup. You can use k-cup pods or your own ground coffee with a My K-Cup reusable coffee filter.
When you first get the unit, you have to run one cycle with just water to clean the machine. Press the power button. The handle should be down. Lift the water reservoir lid and add water, I’ll add 10 ounces. Put a mug on the tray. Lift the handle, you’ll hear the water draining and wait until it stops. Lower the handle and press Brew. Now we can discard the water and brew a cup of coffee. I’ll brew 8 ounces using a k cup, this is the Starbucks veranda blend. The drip tray is removable, it slides out and the tallest cup you can fit here would be 5 inches, maybe 5.25. With the drip tray in place, the clearance is 4 inches.
Here is the power button to turn the unit on and off, it does not light up. The flashing blue means water should be filled. It’ll continue to flash until you lift the handle to put the pod in.
When the brew button flashes blue, the unit is ready and you can press the brew button. It flashes red while the water is heating. It turns solid red when the brewing starts. The 10 ounce cup brewed in 1 minute and 40 seconds. Lift the lid and remove the pod.
If you want to brew another cup, fill water, put another pod in and close the lid. When you’re done, turn the power to off. The unit will shut off automatically after 90 seconds when not in use.
There are two needles that puncture the pod when you close the lid, one above the pod holder and the other in the bottom of the holder.
If you’re using a hot cocoa pod, after it’s finished brewing, run a hot water brew cycle alone without a pod. This is to avoid the needle clogging.
When the drip tray is almost full, you’ll see a red float and that’s when it should be emptied.
To clean, unplug the unit. The drip tray, plate and water level guide are hand wash only. Hold the top and push up on the bottom to remove the pod holder.
The funnel and k-cup pod holder can be separated and washed on the top rack of your dishwasher or hand wash. The holder snaps back in easily. There are instructions in the manual for cleaning the needle and descaling.

UPSPEAK!_ so much UPSPEAK! lol Seriously, it's just something I always notice now since I was made aware of what I sometimes hear for others. Our beautiful reviewer is great at what she does… but the UPSPEAK should be toned down a bit.

Pretty colors and finish on the Compact Keurig K15. Having to fill the reservoir each time you want a cup of coffee may be a hassle, however if you don't use it that often it might satisfy your needs. Thanks for the review.
