Thank you for comment. I agree with some but actually here’s few big
differences. Bar-code location, filter, design and features. Enjoy your
cup, Aromacup.com!

Coffee Maker Reviews - Aromacup.com says:

I’m not sure what you guys talking about but it looks like something crazy
happening in Canada :). Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com.

Pirathepan Kamalanathan says:

Yeah 40 bucks lol! It was hectic…..some people were just fighting….one
lady ran over the counter and hassled one. Hoarders were so embaressing.

I got a t47 also, people lining up after 2 were disappointed they couldn’t
get one.

Coffee Maker Reviews - Aromacup.com says:

Thanks :). Bottled water usually is filtered (reverse osmosis) not
“Chemically Softened Water” (unless it labeled like that). So it’s save to
use. Yes since coffee is 97% water it’s important to use fresh filtered
water to get best flavor. I think T-Discs work all across but not sure :).

Can you make a video where you keep saying button ? lol.. Great video btw.

Pirathepan Kamalanathan says:

I have the T47…..it says do not use Chemically Softened Water? Does that
mean I can not use the water that comes from plastic wate bottles? Also
T55/65 vs T47….does the chlorination of water make the taste different or
better? Do U.S.A. T disks work on a Canadian Tassimo? Thanks Aroma
Dude…love the coupons!

BDaniels says:

Very informative–thank-you. I too received a free one at Tim Horton’s
yesterday and got the T47. My only disappointment was that it does not have
a water filter. Not sure why they aren’t standard on second generation
brewers. Anyhow, if you use spring water vs tap water which has been
filtered already, does it really matter?

Nice job. Thanks!

Coffee Maker Reviews - Aromacup.com says:

Yes it will work just fine. Just make sure your water don’t have a lot of
minerals. If it does make sure to descale often. Enjoy your cup,

I want to make cappuccino mostly, the simplest way. I don’t care about the
light up displays, nor the filters or quantity of water it can hold. . I
assume second generation is better…. so which one between the T 47 and T
55? Thanks – I love your videos!

joshpembers says:

Good comparison video. One question…my first reaction is still to buy a
T65 instead of the 2nd generation T55 machine. ((guess I just like the LCD,
the “light” under the cup when brewing, etc.)) Or would it make more sense
to go with the T55?? Thanks again!

z24baller says:

I know, I wanted to buy a tassimo before but didn’t wanna buy it. And you
got people who want it not getting it, just so people can hoard them. This
deal saved me $79. Though you will get people who just abuse the system for
their own selfish needs.

Igor Dernov says:

Thank you. If you want Cappuccino then I don’t think Tassimo is for you
(since it brew coffee not espresso). You will need to consider Single Serve
Espresso machine (Nespresso, Verismo, Keurig Rivo). Tassimo doesn’t make
real cappuccino :(. Between T47 and T55 it’s all about price. They brew
absolutelly same beverages :). Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com

This video is very informative, and the presenter does an excellent job. I
also appreciate the fact that the camera is on a tripod, making the video
so much more watchable than the many shaky-cam handheld videos I see on
YouTube. I have some other production suggestions for improving the look of
your videos, but would rather make those privately to you, if you are
interested,

Pirathepan Kamalanathan says:

True….it sucks that many went to get 2-3 more. Only few of them gave it
out as gifts or to their University kids. The ones that tried to sell to
Kajiji, Ebay, and ETC pissed me and many RDFers off. Sucks for the ones
that wanted it…..only take what you need!

tim hortons! lol

MrSceptile69 says:

thx… I am looking into buying a Tassimo and this video was very
informative and well done… a real service to consumers.

nomnomnom says:

Sorry, but from the point of coffee making there is basically 0 difference
between the devices. (except the water filter, but as long as your tap
water quality is good -> no difference)

Coffee Maker Reviews - Aromacup.com says:

It’s totally your choice :). T65 is great machine. Enjoy your cup,
Aromacup.com.

kookoolisa says:

It was a promotions with Tim Hortons Coffee shop where they give out a
Tassimo machine ( I got a T47) for free with purchase of 841g of coffee ( 8
lattes, 14 decaf and 28 regular Tim hortons T disks) for $40. So all that
for $40 !!! I was a lucky customer who got there on time and got a machine.
So happy really !
